Quietude Garden

About

Why this garden is quiet

Quietude Garden started as a simple habit: step outside, look closely, inhale the solitude, feel the quiet, and share it. An honest walk through what happened, what worked, what didn't, and what it taught me.

From a distance, plants might look simple and uninteresting to a wandering eye but look closer, listen, and there's a lot more happening than what meets the eye, above and below the ground.

A lot of the time, gardening advice arrives as a rule: plant this in spring, prune that in fall. We're more interested in the reasoning underneath the rule: what the plant is actually doing, what the soil actually needs, why one companion planting works and another doesn't.

So this is a slow project, recorded in real time, through real seasons, including the ones that don't go to plan.
